Creating interactive activities
How do I go about creating interactive activities for my subject? Activities that give students feedback on how well they are doing. |
Hot Potatoes | |
Hot Potatoes are an excellent place to start. Check out the Help with Hot Potatoes course for examples of Hot Potatoes Quizzes. Hot Potatoes are self marking, recorded in the gradebook and have an excellent detailed statistics report of all attempts. You need to download the program and install it on your computer. Make sure that you register the programme as this opens up all the features. (You'll be prompted for a registration key at some stage - click "Get key" and follow the instructions from there) |
ContentGenerator Games
Some of the freebies from the contentgenerator.net website are fun and easy to create (although a little annoying to download - let me know if you need help with that) Again you need to download the programmes and install each on your computer. Fling the Teacher - at least 15 multiple choice questions (Cheat sheet) Half a Minute - jumbled up words (Cheat sheet) Teacher Invaders - one word answers (Cheat sheet) |
