Examples of and help with hotpots.

    Hot Potatoes Quizzes are one of the most popular activities on the WeLCom site. This is for a number of reasons:
    • They are easy to create.
    • There is an amazing variety of activities that can be created with the five different types of Hot Potatoes (Quiz, Cloze, Matching, Mix and Crossword) - as demonstrated in this course.
    • The activities are self marking and students can receive immediate feedback.
    • The Moodle grading and reporting is thorough and an incredible diagnostic tool.

    This course has examples of the different types of Hot Potatoes and demonstrates some innovative applications and some slightly advanced features.

Printing Crosswords

In order to print the HotPot crosswords you must change the "Page Setup" in your browser to "print the background colours and images"

The "Page Setup" option for IE8 is shown below. No matter what browser you are using, you will find the option along with the "Print" option.
